Right next to the famous Sea Organ in Zadar is another masterpiece of modern art and technology: the Greeting to the Sun (Pozdrav Suncu). The large, round glass installation made of 300 multi-layered glass plates is almost inconspicuous during the day – but as soon as the sun sets, it begins to glow and comes to life.

Solar cells are located beneath the surface, storing daylight. After sunset, the square transforms into a fascinating light show of colors, patterns, and movement – in rhythm with the wind and waves, synchronized with the sounds of the Sea Organ. Together, the two artworks create a unique interplay of nature, music, and light.
